Stickiness and Growth (1/2): AI Marketing Studio
Background
Business owners and senior management need to regularly engage with clients and contacts through festival greetings, event invites, product promotions, and special offer announcements.
Existing free apps are often cluttered with ads and fail to deliver a premium experience.
Given the mobile phone’s central role in business communication, integrating a marketing hub within the app is a natural fit.
Creatives generated through this hub, featuring a subtle TranZact watermark, act as conversation starters and digital billboards, leveraging word-of-mouth marketing.
Introduction of Artificial Intelligence
Users often struggle to create meaningful marketing content on their own.
Using AI, we skim the user’s company URL to generate professionally designed content. We focus on two types: Business Introductions and Product Promotions.
Smart Suggestions
Based on user activity on TranZact, we generate smart, timely messages such as appreciation notes for on-time payments or milestones: helping businesses strengthen relationships effortlessly.
Impact
203 companies engaged with the Marketing Hub in just 2 months.
118 power users identified across 94 companies.
790 total events recorded, showing strong multi-touch engagement.
Daily activity from 28 companies: clear signs of habit formation.
Usage spans across management and other teams.
My Role
Led the end-to-end conceptualization and UX design of the Marketing Studio, focusing on simplifying complex workflows for SMEs.
Mapped key user journeys and designed intuitive interaction flows to drive adoption and repeat usage.
Conducted user research through interviews, usability testing, and feedback loops to iteratively fine-tune the studio experience.
Key learnings
Insighting through qualitative user research is a highly effective strategy for concept development from scratch.
Rapid experimentation and iterations leads to incremental improvements to fine tune the experience.
Journey over the truth: Letting people discover the benefits in a journey rather than stating facts upfront.
In business, genuine human connection is often intangible yet critically important. While tools and systems may support maintaining strong connections, it ultimately depends on the consistent, intentional effort of individuals.
